TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Roll Of Honour Proposal
The provision of a roll of honour to bear ! the names of pupils, men and women, of Wellington Technical College who have been killed or died as a result of war service was the subject of a .report by the director of the. college to its board of managers last night. The report proposed that a roll of honour should be designed by the architects for erection in the college hall, the names to be inscribed on it being those of the men and women who had been killed on service or died as a result of service. It was pointed out that the above included those who died while engaged in the merchant service. It was also proposed that no one who had not remained at least one term at the college should be regarded as a student for the purpose of compiling the roll, but that part-time students should qualify equally with students of the Technical High School.
