Two applications by the Wellington City Corporation to amend the Wellington City Council Labourers’ Award came before the Court of Arbitration on May 12. Mr. J. O’Shea appeared in support and Mr. P. Mr. Justice Tyndall stated a case for the Court of Appeal, the question being whether applicant was entitled to appear by counsel on either or both of the applications. The Court of Appeal last week answered the question in the negative.
