D’Ath returned to the south from 'Wellington yesterday. Mr. J. Begg loft 'Wellington for the South Island yesterday. 'rhe Rev. If. , Leonard Hurst. Australasian secretary of tiie leuidon Missionary Society. Ims arrived in Wellington. and expects to spend about a month in New Zealand before returning to Australia.
'Phe Rev. G. W. Playfair, a field director of 25 years' experiem-e with the Sudan Interior Mission, has been appointed general director of the mission, according to advice received in 'Wellington from Toronto, Canada.
