Late News BLOW FROM THE BEACH-HEAD

German Report LONDON, .May 23. A German High Command communique states that Allied forces in the Atizio beach-head launched a strong attack this morning. The attack opened iu the early hours of the morning with a heavy barrage, followed up by waves of troops supported by tanks and planes. The .fighting, the communique says, is taking place south-west and west of Carrocetto and between Littoria and Cisterna.

There is as yet no confirmation of the report from Allied sources.
