' (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 23. A squadron of Spitfires which last weekend destroyed seven Germans in one 24-hour period went one better yesterday by shooting down eight of 20 bomb-carry-ing planes north of Anzio. The squadron commander, Squadron Leader Nevuic Duke, is the top-scoring fighter pilot in the Mediterranean. Yesterday he claimed two, bringing his personal score to 20.
