PRISONERS OF WAR
More Men From Italy Found Information about 21 more New Zealanders who were prisoners in Italy, but whose whereabouts hajl been unknown since the capitulation of Italy, has been received by the Prisoners of War Inquirv Office. Seventeen have been transferred to Germany, two have escaped to Allied lines, and two to Switzerland. There are still 360 men who were prisoners in Italy and whose whereabouts are unknown. The office has received from the International Red Cross a report of a visit t > Stalag IN A/Z in March, wliich states that clothing is satisfactory and the sanitary arrangements adequate. The men’s health is stated to-be excellent, and they receive dental attention. Religious services are held regularly. There is a small library and indoor and outdoor games are played. Discipline is strict, but there were no complaints and the morale of the men was excellent. The rations were supplemented by parcels, and various articles were requested from the Red Cross,
