Proposed Use In Australia MELBOURNE, May 15. New Zealand slaughtermen may be brought to Australia to help to increase meat' production, according to the Minister of Labour, Mr. Holloway. * In an announcement made following a conference with representatives of the meat industry and Government officials, the Minister said that it had been suggested that because the Australian and New’ Zealand killing seasons did not clash New Zealand slaughtermen could be brought tQ Australia. Mr. Holloway told the conference that there was no possibility of the demand for meat slackening. Commitments to Britain had to be met and the needs at home would rise continuously because of the obligations to Australian and Allied troops in and beyond Australia.
