AUSTRALIAN LOAN FILLED
SYDNEY, May 16. Australia’s First Victory Loan of £150,000.000 was fully subscribed with a total of not less than 440,000 individual subscribers, said the Acting-Prime Minister, Mr. Forde. The goal of the individual subscribers set b.v the Government was 750,000. Officially the loan closed on May 9, but it was decided to accept subscriptions for another week.
