EVENING WEDDING

Levien—Brickman At an evening ceremony in the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Wellington, on Thursday, the wedding took place of Leba Varma, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. Brickman. Lyall Bay, Wellington, and Flying Officer H. G. Levien, younger son of Mr. F. H. Levien, S.M.. and Mrs. Levien, Auckland. The bridegroom has been on active service overseas. Canpn D. J. Davies officiated. The bride was escorted by her father and wore a lovely close-fitting trained frock of white sheer dentelle and a full tulle veil. She carried a shower bouquet of white flowers. Her sister. Miss Billie Brickman, was bridesmaid, wearing a slightly trained frock of powder blue crene, with cyclamen flowers in her hair and carrying a shower bouquet to tone. Sergeant Pilot Max Adams, R.N.Z.A.r., Kelburn. was best man and some members of the R.N.Z.A.F were ushers. A reception for 2uo guests was held at the Roseland Cabaret, where Mrs. Brickman and Mrs. Levien received the guests. Mrs. Brickman wore a powder blue crepe frock with diamante trimmings and Mrs. Levien’s dull black satin gown was trimmed with diamante. After sun* per there was a. dance. The honeymoon is to be spent in Auckland.
