N.Z. MINISTER IN WASHINGTON
(Received May 11. 11 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 11. On the eve of their departure for Washington, the New Zealand Minister, Mr. Berendsen, and Mrs. Berendsen, today were .entertained by representatives of the New Zealand community in Sydney. Organizations represented nt tile farewell gathering this afternoon were the New Zealand War Unit, the New Zealand Association and the New Zealand Club. Warm tributes were paid to Mr. and Airs. Berendsen tor their work in cementing the close ties of friendship and co-oper-ation between Australia and New Zealand. I
