MUSICAL EVENING AT BORSTAL

A party representing the Victoria League Younger Contingent visited the Women’s Borstal, Wellington, on Tuesday night, and entertained the inmates with a programme arranged by Mrs. B. McKinley. Also assisting were Miss Evelyn Macfarlane. as pianist, and Miss Dorothy Tate as ballet mistress. The others of the party were Marjorie Henley, Betty Menard, Glen Mncmorran, Pat McKinnon, Gwynneth Jones, Lesley Jones, Athnlie Eaton. Marion Webster, biona MacKay. Joan Wilson. Marcelle Haughey. Ro Pound, Jo Pound, Esther Duigan. . Solo parts were taken by Ko Pound, Pat McKinnon, Glen Macinorran, Marjorie Henley. Jo Pound, Gwynneth Jones, Fiona Mac Kay. „„ „ Mr. Fredrickson gave 20 minutes of magic. Transport, organized by Sir. K. A Large, was provided by members ot the Real Estate Institute.
