Germans Trying To Smash Tito’s Partisans (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 7. Heavy fighting in the LjubljanaTrieste area is reported in a Yugoslav Partisan communique. A total of 156 of the enemy are also reported to have been killed in fighting in the Dinarie Alps. Several trains were derailed in Carinthia. In western Bosnia Partisans occupied the town of Kresevo, killing or wounding 150 of the enemy. Over 400 enemy troops were killed or wounded in Macedonia.
