Rain Mars Wellington > Games The Wellington Basketball Association’s games on Saturday were spoilt by rain, but most of the junior games were completed with a minimum of defaults. Only one senior A game was completed, in which Aspro narrowly defeated Technical C.O.G. The rain slowed this game up considerably, and this was to- Aspro’s advantage. W.E.O.G. senior B team played a fast and open game against Y.W.C.A., both sides playing attractive, open basketball. Results are as follows:— Senior A: Aspro 15, Technical C.O.G 12; Island Bay 5, St. Joseph’s 2 (unfinished). Senior B: St. Joseph’s 11, St. Mary’s 10; Wellington East 20, Y.W.C.A. 13; W.C.O.G. 9, University 5 (unfinished).
