Rain on Saturday afternoon cut. short Play in the Wellington Lawn Tennis Association's junior invitation tournament The intention had been to play all games except the finals, but only one semifinal Was played. The remaining rounds will be played next Saturday, play beginning in the morning, and the finals being held in the afternoon. , , The semifinal which was played was in the boys’ singles, under 10. It was the outstanding match of the day. Mexted defeated Barringer, 9-5, Mexted s forceful type of play and all-round ability overcoming the steadiness of Barringer.
