CHANGE OF COURSE NOT ALLOWED
{By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 18. The application of the North Canterbury Racing Club to change the venue of the Labour Day meeting from Motukarara to Ricearton I)aw been declined by the New Zealand Racing Conference, and the meeting will be held at Motukarara. The course, though still soft, has shown some improvement in the last few days, and if the present fine weather continues throughout this week the going next Monday should be good.
