BIG RAID ON HANOVERc

Mosquitoes Over Berlin LONDON, October 19. R A.F. heavy bombers raided Germany last night in strength, their main target being Hanover. The results of the raid, could not be determined because of cloud. Mosquitoes were over Berlin and western Germany. Seventeen bombers are misswas last attacked on October S, when industrial sections of the city' were wiped out, fires being started which were still burning three days later. Hanover, in addition to possessing Germanys largest synthetic rubber works, is an important transport junction.
