The Very Rev. Dr. J. A. Kennedy has been appointed tlie Vicar-Capitular to administer the diocese of Christchurch pending the appointment by Hie Holy bee of a successor to the late Bishop Brodie. Dr. Kennedy for some years has Deen parish priest at Beckenham.
