LATE DR. R. A. SHORE

Largely-Attended Funeral

The funeral service for the_ late Dr. R. A. Shore, Deputy Director-General of Health, was held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Wellington, _ yesterday morning. The Rev. Brian Kilroy, wlu> conducted the service, made special reference to Dr. Shore’s valuable work in connexion with the public hospitals ox the Dominion, and to his exceptionally genial nature, which he had maintained almost to the last. The chief mourners were the widow, a son, Mr. A. Shore, and three daughters, Mrs. A. H. Coad, Mrs. J. V. Dawson, and Miss Shirley Shore. The large number present at the service was represetative of Dr. Shore's long association with health and hospital activities. It. included: Hop. A. H Nordmeyer, Minister of Health ; Dr. M. 11.
