Death Of Injured Man (By Telegrapli.—Press Association.) WHANGARET, October 16. Without regaining consciousness. James Muriwai, aged 22, of Utakura, who was admitted to the Kawakawa Hospital suffering from a facture of the skull, believed to have been caused by blows from a heavy implement, died last night. This morning a youth, aged 16, appeared in the Kaikoiie Court charged with murder mid was remanded to appear at Auckland next Friday. An inquest was opened at Kawakawa this morning and after evidence, of identification.had been given, was adjouned sine die.

The youth who appeared before the Court was the same ns was yesterday remanded on a charge of attempted murder, the more serious charge I his morning being the result of Muriwsi’s death.
