Wellington Officer To Be Superintendent

Dominion Special Service.

It was announced at the . monthly meeting of the Wellington Fire Board yesterday that Inspecting Officer G. Drummond, of the Wellington I'ire Brigade, had been appointed superintendent of the Napier Fire Brigade. Mr. Drummond, who has been with the Wellington brigade for 10 years, is to take up h:s new duties at the beginning of next month. He is now on extended leave of absence. __
