■WASHINGTON, October 14. •‘A new world is being fashioned in cur laboratories and when the veil of secrecy imposed by the war is lifted our people will be amazed at the array of inventions,” said the Vice-President, Mr. H. A. Wallace. He added : “From laboratories, both Government and private, a flood of discoveries is coming. Helicopters, television, radio, light metals, plastics, new foods and medicines will open vast indusrial frontiers.”
