President Roosevelt at a Press conference gave statistics of the American air raid last Friday on (German objectives, in which 855 planes participated. They carried, he said, 2,500,0001 b. of Ibomibs, and 2,750,000 rounds of ammunition and burnt 1,000,000 gallons of petrol and 25,000 gallons of oil. More than 5000 crew members participated in the raid over enemy territory for periods of two to six hours.
