Missing Wanganui Man

WANGANUI, October 13. Parties of police from Wanganui and Castlecliff stations have been patrolling the beaches during the past few days in their search for Charles Uings, aged 64, who disappeared from the Aramoho private hotel on the evening of September 3. The police search was extended along the coast as far south as the Wangaehu liiver and was also carried out north of Castlediff- . , Mr. Uings went into the_ city from Aramoho on the night he disappeared, but was reported to have been seen in Victoria Avenue during the afternoon of the following day. Since then no trace of him has been found despite wide police inquiries. ______
