He went as a student to Otago University under the Southland Presbytery. He served in the last war, going overseas with tlie Aledical Corps in 1915, and won tlie Alililary Aledal at I’asshcendacle. lie completed his theogolieal course at Glasgow University, and wh.-n lie returned Io New Zealand lie was minister at. St rill ford, at Port Chalmers, and then at Epsom. He is slill minister of tlie Epsom eliarge, but: is on leave while with tlie forces. At present lie is serving in the Middle East.
