Folio From Australia To join iu the “coming of age” of the Junior Red Cross iu New Zealand last month, Junior Red Cross divisions throughout Australia combined to send a folio album prepared on the lines of the international folios which used to be exchanged between Junior Red Cross organizations all over the world in prewar days. , , Each State contributed a number ot folios, and these have been assembled by the New South Wales J.R.C., which is tlie foundation division iu Australia and is 29 years old. The album, bound in rich navy blue, opens with a fine photograph .of an Australian she-oak, and the inscription page bears the words, "Greetings to the New Zealand Junior Red. Cross on the occasion of its 21st birthday, ftom the Australian Junior Red Cross as a token of goodwill and friendship.” . Various sections provide an admirable resume of the activities of the organization in each State, and are illustrated with sketches, drawings, and photographs, and some States have gathered together highly decorative exhibits ot native wild flowers. The complete album is a tribute to the excellent and unselfish work being done by Australian members for the benefit of the children of servicemen in particular, and in support.of Real Cross activities in general.
