Charles—Cameron An evening wedding took place at St. lames’ Church, Lower Hutt, on Friday October 8, when Eileen 01ra ', T^ i ?y g^t ®s of Mrs E. Cameron, Lower Hutt, and th late’ Mr. M. Cameron, was married to Corporal Joseph ® u£ C1 . 1 . a , U'SMC son of Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Charles, Michigan, U.S.A. The Rev. M. Pirani was the officiating clergyman. The bride, who entered the church with her uncle. Mr. Gordon Cameron, wore a gown of'white embossed tufteta, made with a long train, fully gored skirt, lon= corsage coming to a point back aud front, and finished at the back v-ith button.. Her tulle veil, forming a second tram and worn over the face when the bride entered the church, was arranged on the beau with orchids. Iler bouquet was ot Christmas lilies and other white flowers, and maidenhair fern. Attending her was her sister, Miss Noeline Cameron, who wore a full length frock of powder-blue corded crepe with short sleeves, the neck and sleeves being scalloped. Natural flowers, which were worn on her head, were finished at the back with a velvet bow. She carried a posy of freesias, primulas, and maidenhair fern. • Captain G. W. Chamberlain, U.S.M.C., was best man. A reception was held at the home ot Mrs. F. Campbell, Lower Hutt, and the guests were received by Mrs. Cameron and Mrs. Campbell. The bride’s mother wore a light weight navy blue wool coat appliqued in satin over a floral frock in pale blue tones, and a smart navy-blue tailored felt hat. Mrs. Campbell wore a navy-blue ensemble relieved with white, with a toning hat and fox furs. Mrs. J. B. Charles travelled iir a twopiece flak crepe suit in powder-blue and navy blue, and a smart navy halo hat scalloped at the edge.
