ACCIDENT TO FLOAT

When iu the vicinity of Massey Agricultural College, near Palmerston North, a flout conveying six horses to the Otaki race meeting on Saturday colliiieil with another vehicle. The flout was damaged and unable to continue its journey. As no other float was available the horses had to be withdrawn from their engagements. The horses were Conspicuous. Blainchburn. Thumbs Up, Tavern Light, Solver, and Greek Effort. One slightly. hurt its head, but the others escaped Injury.
