FAMOUS DESTROYER LOST
(British Official Wireless.) (Received October 10. 8.20 p.m.) RUGBY, October 9. The Admiralty states that the destroyer Intrepid (Commander C. A. de W. Kitcat) has been lost. The Intrepid played an important part in the interception of the Altmark and later assisted in the evacuation of troops from Dunkirk.
