Vice-Regal. Government House, Wellington, October ‘J. ' His Excellency the Governor-General received Commander M. G. Saunders, R.N., this morning. O’liis afternoon his Excellency received the Right Honourable the Prime Minister. This evening his Excellency, attended by Major C. J. Holland-Martin, was present at the Boy Scout Commissioners’ Conference held al: the Frederic Wallis House, Lower Hutt. , , October 10. His Excellency the Governor-General attended divine service at St. Mary’s Church, Karori, this morning. Mr. J. T. Adams is to represent the Wellington R.S.A. on the Dominion Settlement Association. Mr. W. D. Haydon and Mr. S. Porter have 'been nominated by the Wellington R.S.A. as its representatives on the Patriotic Welfare Committee. Mr. R. T. Alston has been appointed secretary to the Christchurch Master Printers’ Industrial Union of Employers in place of the late Mr. G. L. Donaldson. Mr. Lionel Inch, who, 15 years ago, was well-known in amateur theatrical and competition circles in Wellington, and who subsequently went on the stage Professionally in America, is now attached to the cable-decoding section of the New Zealand supplies organization in Washington, D.C. On the American stage he was known as Lionel Ince.
