EASTBOURNE R.S.A. CLUBROOM
Initiative and enterprise were recently rewarded when the Wellington R.o.A. approved ihe purchase of a section on which its Efistibourne ‘branch will build an up-to-date club-room fur returned servicemen in their district. An energetic committee has been working’ bard, and plans for the proposed building now being available, ihe intention is to go SiUCau with const ruction as soon as the initial financial arrangements have been made. The branch hopes to have the new home completed as early us possible in order to provide a suitable meelingfidaee aud recreation facilities for the increasing number of returning servicemen. At a recent meeting a sum of ILLS toward the cost, of the building was collected within u few minutes ami a further single donation of £5O has since been received.
