Jhe play, which Abounds in humorous situations and wittv lines, breathes an air of sweet family tolerance and gives a human ani amusing picture of the life of a New Yoik family. It was a great success on the stage in London and New York, and as a mm. The present production is under the direction of W. S. Wauchopu. His Excellency tlie Governor-General will be present nt the opening performance.
