RELIGION IN SCHOOLS
(British Offlcln’ Wireless.) RUGBY, October 7. The President of the Board of Education, Mr. Butler, said in London today that a deputation from the Free and Anglican churches had asked him to insert in the Government’s education plnn provision for religious instruction. Ho said the Government proposed to include in the plan provision for religious training as nn alternative subject in obtaining a certificate and intended to find a definite place for religious teaching aud religious expression in every school.
