APPARENT DUAL VOTING EXPLAINED

Dominion Special Service. PALMERSTON N., October 6.

A satisfactory explanation has been received regarding all apparent cases of dual voting in the Palmerston North electorate. The official recount began this morning, and it is expected to be completed tomorrow, when the postal and absentee votes will be added. The totals will be wired to the chief electoral officer. Wellington, where the service figures will be totalled and the final results returned to the Palmerston North returning officer.
