DEFAULTERS ESCAPE
Two military defaulters escaped on Sunday night from the detention camp at Shannon. Their names and descriptions are: • Stuart Shaw, aged 2o; good build;. fair hair and complexion. Ordinarily resident at 1 Avon Street, Lower Hutt, Wellmgl°Edward Charles Leslie Tapp; aged 21; small build; dark hair and complexion. Ordinarily resident at 320 Jackson Street, Petone. . , Both escapees were wearing denim trousers and borstal grey suit coats. Any person knowing their whereabouts is asked to communicate with the nearest police station. . , . .. n Last night tbe missing men were still at large.
