Fighting Their Way To Eighth Army (Received October 1, 11 p.m.) LONDON, September 30. The Milan newspaper “D’Ttalia” states that several thousand British prisoners who were freed by ihe Italians after the armistice have succeeded in arming themselves and are now fighting their way io Apulia to join General Montgomery’s forces fighting northward.
