A difference of opinion regarding the. length of time required to train a florist was revealed at a sitting of the Auckland industrial manpower committee Air. YV. A. Leggett, representing the manpower otlicer, said the trade of a florist was not a highly technical one, and a woman witli an aptitude for flowers could pick it up in two or three months. The appellant said that a florist's occupation was a skilled one, requiring two years’ training.
