WHOLESALE POTATO PRICES
An amended price order has been issued by the Price Tribunal to fix the wholesale price of potatoes as from yesterday. The new prices arc; Main crop Suttons Supreme and King Edward potatoes grown in (he South Island, £lO/15/- a ton; others, £lO/5/- a ton. North .Island potatoes, £l2/15/- a ton. Tagged potatoes may have a maximum of 10/- n ton added. The retail prices are not changed.
