GERMANS CLAIM CORFU OCCUPIED
LONDON, September 28. Germany reports (hat they have occupied the island of Corfu, off the coast of Greece, at the entrance to the Adriatic, after some lighting. The Italian troops on the island refused to surrender, and the Germans say they have captured several thousand prisoners.
