RESCUE FROM SEA Crew Of R.N.Z.A.F.
Aircraft NIGHT SPENT IN DINGHY The crew of a Royal New Zealand Air Force aircraft was rescued off the coast of New Zealand yesterday morning, after having spent the night in a dinghy, following a forced landing lute on Tuesday afternoon. When advice was received that the aircraft had made a forced landing, aerial and sea searches were organized immediately and contact was soon made.
The personnel involved were: Flight Sergeant John Lindsay Allen (wife, Airs. E. Al. Allen, 4 Upton Street, Herne Bay. Auckland). Temporary Sergeant Douglas George Kilgour- (wife, Airs. Al. 11. Kilgour, 2.1 Jason Avenue, Sandringham, Auckland). Flight. Sergeant Philip James Field (wife, Airs. A. D. E. Field, 44 ’Wellington Street. Nelson). Flight Sergeant Alalcolm _Jack I'ry (mother, Airs. A. F. Fry, 21u Poilsonby Road, Auckland).
