The women's coinmil tee has) for the past. 17 years, been carrying out social activities in connexion with the work of the branch’, and the success of the association has been due, in no small measure, to their splendid efforts. The .president and officials, both jiast and present, ipraised members for their unremitting efforts. Tile decision was made Io comply witli the wishes of the New Zealand K.S.A. in becoming a unit of the newly formed Dominion-wide organization, a procedure which is being generally adopted.
Interest in Industrial Workers’ Club. Speakers at the bi-weekly meet in'' of the Women’s Study Circle ■ early this month were Sister Dawes and Mrs. Youngs, who spoke on the club for women and girls in manufacturing work which they are forming. Members showed their interest in the. project by becoming associate members.
