APPEAL DECISIONS
Mental Hospital Work
Decisious have been announced by I lie Wellington Industrial Manpower Committee on appeals heard last week, when objections were raised in 13 eases to the direction of young women to the Porirua Mental Hospital in the capacity of nurses. Practically in every case appeals lodged by the employers were disallowed, but in six instances the personal objection of appellant was allowed. Seven were disallowed, the direction in most cases being that duties should be taken up nt the Porirua Mental Hospital for a period of six months as from June 21. The decisions were: Misses M. A. White, T. F. Davis, R. F. Hill, K. P. McLeod, A. M. Johnson and N. J. Griffiths, appeals allowed; Misses M. I'l. Miller, G. Hillman, L. B. Orsborn, N. J. Wort, P. Chandler, S. U. Dyer and E. J. Dustin, appeals disallowed.
