The New South Wales State Government has decided to provide £lOO.OOO to establish a Sydney Cancer Institute for treatment and research. Making this announcement, the State Premier, Mr. McKell, said that Dr. Ralston Paterson, director of the Holt Radium Institute. at Manchester, the foremost cancer authority in the British Empire, will come from England to advise on the establishment of the institute and the treatment of the disease.
