Arrival In Middle East LONDON, June 6.

Colonel Haas, commanding n Belgian brigade, in an order of the day to his troops who recently arrived in the Middle East said: ‘This Allied army of the Middle East is the army which is to protect Africa and possibly invade southern Europe. You will soon be in the theatre of active operations. “When the time comes for the offensive we shall have the position we deserve. The hour of deliverance for our King and country is approaching.” The Belgian brigade received a special message of greetings from the Comman-der-in-Chief, Persia-Iraq Command, General Sir Henry Maitland Wilson.
