A British submarine sank a (>00<)-ton Italian merehnnlmnn loaded with motor transport, en route to Tunisia from Italy, and also a schooner near Sardinia, and a 20f:9-ton vessel. Another sulnnarim- torpedoed a 7000ton German ship in the Gulf of Genoa. A third submarine got a large merchmitmmi in the Gulf of Genoa. It also shelled a seaplane hangar on the coast for 15 minutes, and scored 10 hits.
