MILITARY TEAMS Cricket At Auckland
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 29.
Military cricket teams representing Central (Wellington), and Northern (Auckland! districts, commenced a two-day match. Central batted first, and compiled 166 (J. R. Laiuason 32, R. ,T. Coupland 3'2, T. P. Heaney 30). G. L. YVeir took four wickets for Northern for 36 runs. Northern replied with l'.)l, W. JI. YVallace playing a fine Innings for 65. Ltimasou took four wickers for 31 runs. Central scored two runs without loss in its second innings.
