DELEGATES TO GO INTO RESIDENCE
Three-Day Conference
Forty-seven delegates will go into residence at the Frederic AVallis House, Lower Hutt, today for the tbree-day annual conference, sponsored by the loutn Christian Council of Religious Education in New Zealand. As delegates will be arriving throughout the day irom all parts of the Dominion, the actual opening will -ot take place till dinner, when all will meet informally over the evening The first address of the session will follow and will be given by the Rev. U. T. Symons, Presbyterian director ot youth Christian councils for New Zealand. He will speak on aspects of the youth nioieIt is expected that some stimulating ideas will result from the series ot talks that has - been arranged. Dr. balmon, Dunedin, will speak tomorrow moruuig, his subject being, "Does New Zealand Need a Youth Christian Union Movement” Mr. Bach will discuss physical education and Mr. Howard Wadman will take the three evening addresses. Mr. B. AVright, president of the Louth ,0,1 istian Council of Religious Education, will Pr in d addition to representatives of all the local youth councils from the various centres, directors of youth church groups will attend. There will also be delegates from the Nurses’ Christian Union, btudent Christian Movement. A.M.C.A-, Y M U.A., Boy Scouts, Girls Life Lri o adt. and Salvation Army. The conference will conclude on Sunday night.
