Wellington Harbour Board

A letter came before the Wellington Harbour Board lasi night from the chairman of the Rehabilitation Board Mr. Moohan, inquiring as to the work the board projwsed to carry out . war, its cost, and the amount ot labour that would be required. It was suggested by Mr. M. 1 rasei that a replv should be sent stating that the board had a number of major works in contemplation, but that the shortage of staff made it impossible for details to be prepared at the present time. After the matter had been discussed m committee the chairman, Mr. YV. 11. Price, stated that it had been decided to refer the question to a special committee of the whole board, to meet at the earliest possible date and prepare a report.
