Bombs As Encouragement
For Recruits
(Received January 25, 7 p.m.) LONDON, January 24
“It is reported from different parts of Palestine that terrorism and hooliganism are being perpetrated by persons who represent that they are concerned in the recruitment for the British forces,” states a communique which was issued in Jerusalem today. “The methods inelude the placing of bombs on premises, the administering of castor oil, and other forms of intimidation. Acts such as these bring discredit, to the recruiting campaign and must he prevented in the interest of the war effort, as well as for tlie good of the country, which has given many thousands of recruits to the armed forces.”
