TYPHUS IN REICH

LONDON, January 21. A League of Nations report from Geneva reveals that there were nearly 4000 cases of typhus among German civilians during the first nine months of last year. This compares with no cases of Hie disease in 102,0, six in .1040. and nearly 400 in 1941.

Since last September the Germans have ■topped issuing figures of typhus cases. No Gorman Army typhus figures are a vailable, but the tienova report indicates that they are higher than the civilian figures.
