tn Ihe presence of a large gathering of bowlers, including an official party Irom Hie Wellington Bowling Centre. MrJoseph Zachai'iah. a member ol the executive for the past live years and secretary and treasurer for the past three years o the Eastbourne Bowling Club, received n presentation from the members of hat club on Sunday. The presentation which lw k the form of a wristlet watch, "’as TiTide bv tbe president ol the club. Mi. W . Ilorni”’ who expressed the greatest appreeiation of the always cheerful services rendered to the club by -Mr. Znehariuh in various capacities over a number ot venrs null also mentioned how much club members regretted his departure irom the district, where lie had lived lor Ihe |iast 15 years.. Mr- U- M". Wise, a former m-esiiieiit. of the club, and Mr. .1. Norrie, 'resident of Hie Wellington <<’ntre. also commented upon Ihe services Mr. Zachat-i-ih had given to bowls m the district Mr. Zacharinh has now taken up bis residence at Karori. and intends lo join the Karori Bowling * hib.
